CACIB Show Mechelen

Lina (Kamp. Billsor Feelinblue) maakte een jaar of twee geleden haar comeback in de showring en werd met succes uitgebracht in Veteranenklas op Rasspeciales. Maar omdat ze nog in zo'n mooie conditie was, besloten we haar de volgende keer in Kampioensklas in te schrijven om te zien of ze dat ene CAC zou kunnen winnen dat ze nodig had om de titel van Belgisch (Show) Kampioen te behalen, een titel die gecreëerd werd nadat haar showcarriere was stopgezet. Ze deed dat in stijl door bovenop ook nog het CACIB en BOS te winnen op de leeftijd van 9,5 jaar.

Lina (Sh Ch Billsor Feelinblue) made her comeback into the showring a year or 2 ago to compete in Veteran Class at Breed Club Ch. Shows, which she did with great success. But as she was still in such lovely coat & condition and still could outmove any dog in the ring at the age of 9,5 years we decided to enter her in Champion Class the next time to see if she could win that one CAC which would earn her the Belgian Show Champion title that was created after she went into retirement. She did so in great style by also winning the CACIB and BOS.

Sporting Spaniel Association Ch Show

Het was een 'familie aangelegenheid" op de Clubshow van de Sporting Spaniel Association vandaag. Anna (Billsor On a Mission: Backhills Finish First x Kamp. Billsor Imagine) won op haar allereerste show Beste Baby v/h Ras. Haar moeder Maggie won BOB. Ze is nu naast Nederlands en Luxemburgs ook Belgisch (Show) Kampioen. Anna's overgrootmoeder langs vader's kant Lina (Kamp. Billsor Feelinblue) won voor het tweede jaar op rij Beste Veteraan in Show. Keurmeesters was mevr. Viviane Boesmans.

It was a family affair at this year's Ch Show of the Sporting Spaniel Association. Anna (Billsor On a Mission), who had her debut today, won Best Baby. She is by Bachhills Finish First x Sh Ch Billsor Imagine. Her mum Maggie won BOB (adding the Belgian Sh Ch title to her name) while her great grandmother on her father's side Lina (Sh Ch Billsor Feelinblue) won Best Veteran in Show for the second year running. Mrs Viviane Boesmans was the judge.

Puppies

Rond 26 maart verwachten wij de geboorte van de eerste pups van onze jong reu Uffe (Backhills Finish First - foto links). Voor Maggie wordt dit haar tweede nestje.

Maggie's second litter is due around March 26th. This'll be the very first litter sired by our Swedish boy Uffe (Backhills Finish First - photo above)

Belgian English Cocker Club's Youngster and Veteran Match

Martha won op de Jongehonden- en Veteranendag van de Belgian English Cocker Club "Best Youngster in Match" (er wordt geen Best in Match gekeurd). Ze mag zich ondertussen ook Belgisch Jeugdkampioen noemen.

At the Belgian English Cocker Club's Youngster and Veteran Match Martha won Best Youngster in Match (no Best in Match is awarded). She now also proudly carries the title of "Belgian Junior Champion".

Puppies

Rond 9 september verwachten wij Dory's tweede nestje! Trotse toekomstige vader is Kamp. Mistily's Chatterbox, gefokt door Christina Daniels en in eigendom van Mildred Ockers ("Quaondy's").

Dory's second litter is due around september 9. Proud father to be is Ch. Mistily's Chatterbox, bred by Christina Daniels, owned by Mildred Ockers ("Quaondy's").

Belgian English Cocker Club

Na een lange afwezigheid, hoofdzakelijk vanwege gezondheidsproblemen, zijn we eindelijk terug in de ring. Onze nieuwste aanwinst Backhills Finish First (Billsor Kite Runner x Ch Backhills Xpect A New Day) maakte een geslaagde entree en won Beste Puppy In Show. Uffe's fokster Karin Staaf uit Zweden heeft hem een heel ambitieuze naam gegeven, maar wij zullen ons uiterste best doen om hem die naam waardig te laten zijn.
Voor Martha was het nog maar haar tweede show, ze behaalde een mooie tweede plaats in de Jeugdklas. Keurmeesteres was Janetta Fairbairn uit Schotland.




After a long absence from the ring, mainly due to health problems, we're finally back. The latest adition

to our kennel, Backhills Finish First (Billsor Kite Runner x Ch Backhills Xpect A New Day) made an excellent first appearance by winning Best Puppy In Show. Uffe's breeder Karin Staaf from Sweden has given him a very ambitious name, but we'll do watever we can to help him live up to it.
Having only been shown once so far Martha acquited herself very well with a second place in Junior Class. The Judge was Janetta Fairbairn from Scotland.
